The Small Farms Tech Hub is a centralized support resource that helps small farms access and apply appropriate technologies. It includes digital tools, market guidance, and business strategy support to help producers scale sustainably.

Who It Serves

The program serves California based small-scale farmers and ranchers seeking to enhance their business operations and sales strategies. 

Key Features

  • Marketing & Business Resources – Offers curated toolkits and materials to help farmers improve branding, pricing, and market access.

  • One-on-One Technical Assistance – Provides personalized consulting for producers on technology challenges and solutions for their small businesses, such as adopting an ecommerce store, or learning about digital payment methods and record keeping.

  • Small Farm Innovation Challenge - an annual challenge which invites innovators from across the globe to propose technology-based solutions that help small-scale agriculture thrive. 

  • Small Farm Tech Expo - an annual event showcasing….

  • Workshops - supporting farmers with skills for adopting appropriate technology for their small businesses such as digital literacy training.
